Violin, Viola, and Cello Bows
The Collection WLK is a small collection of bows for violins, violas, and cellos.
Yet our goal is not only to collect great bows but to deliver them to talented musicians.
Very often, the best bows are stored away, down deep in the instrument storages across the world.
This collection was initiated to bring them back to the frontline of musical expression.

Our bow selection process typically starts at instrument stores. We have close friendships with multiple instrument stores, where we test-play many bows to narrow down to the one that best fits your instrument. This process may take a long time and a lot of effort. However, we believe this is best for musicians after all. Our bow coverage is wide from old French bows to new creations.
We ask musicians to financially support our program by defraying a reasonable rent fee. The fee is decided by the bow's market price, the potential or the achievements of the musician, their economic circumstances, and so on. Other than the rent fee, some costs may be required to visit music stores across the countries, to use music halls to test play the bows, and so on. Your financial contribution will be utilized to pay for insurance, maintenance of the existing collections, and various support for musicians.
Because typical insurance products are expensive yet have many limitations to be effective, we have always been concerned that many musicians are worried about possible accidents that may hurt, damage, or destroy their instruments under force majeure conditions. In order to set free from such anxieties, we charge or claim nothing other than the rent fee when our bows are involved in unfortunate accidents.
